Our restaurant overlooks the River Conwy at the edge of Betws-y-Coed in the Snowdonia National Park, and is open to non-residents for:

Every year since 2006 we have received the coveted AA Rosette award for culinary excellence in addition to the Taste of Wales recognition.

Wales offers such an abundance of quality produce we constantly strive to source all of our ingredients locally and insist on daily deliveries to ensure the freshness of each dish we prepare.

We have invested heavily and worked tirelessly to produce our own selection of vegetables, salads, herbs, fungis, edible flowers and fruits from our extensive kitchen gardens.

The restaurant menu is prepared here each day by our team of Chefs, therefore given notice we should be able to provide for most dietary requirements, whether it be vegetarian, vegan or food allergies such as gluten free or coeliac. We strive to produce a balanced menu working with local seasonal produce.

Our Restaurant staff are extensively trained in all aspects of the menu and wine list. Our cellar contains over 100 hand-selected wines from across the world designed to complement the dishes we prepare.

To complete your dining experience we offer an excellent variety of locally blended speciality Teas and Coffees. We pride ourselves on our indubitable commitment to providing quality in food and service for all our guests.

Rabbit terrine Confit of rabbit served with a caramelised beetroot puree

Arbroath smokies Smoked haddock baked with shallots, tomatoes and cream, glazed with a Snowdon cheese

Anglesey eggs Duck eggs served on a bed of leeks with a smoked bacon and cheese sauce

Roasted vine tomato soup Garnished with a spinach and feta ravioli, pesto and brioche croutons (V)

Pan-fried scallops With confit of streaky bacon and a cream and egg sabayon

Smoked salmon & crab roulade Fresh crab meat rolled in oak smoked salmon and served with pickled garden cucumber

Deep fried perl wen Bread crumbed welsh brie with poached pears and onion marmalade (V)

Carpaccio of Ynys Mon pigeon Seared breast of pigeon with parmesan shavings and cranberry coulis

Ham hock terrine Served with a poached egg and pea puree

Conwy valley mutton Slow roasted over 24 hours and served in a shortcrust tartlet with garlic mash & creamed leeks

Goujons of Sea Bream Breaded, Deep fried and served with a warm tartar sauce, sauté potatoes & pea puree

Shin of Welsh Beef Wellington Slow braised and glazed with cranberry Snowdon cheese, served with braised red cabbage

Fillet of Sea Bass Pan fried and served on a red onion, lemon & caper fettuccini

Welsh Sirloin Steak Pepper crusted with a Portobello mushroom sauce and sautéed potatoes

Breast of Guinea Fowl Roasted and served with a pine nut & cranberry terrine and sweet potato gnocchi

Marjoram & Lemon crusted Hake Oven baked and served with a chive beurre blanc

Crispy confit of duck leg Served with buttered spinach & orange glazed noodles

Wild mushroom tagliatelle Chefs own tagliatelle in a wild mushroom and herb cream sauce served with crostini (V)
