Lovely location nice food

If you want the experience of being completely surrounded by beautiful scenery, and staying in some of the best accommodation in the country, then this place ticks all the boxes Fabulous.

Excellent hotel tucked in a picturesque riverside setting. We spent a few nights but didn’t indulge in dinner activities. EV charger was convenient. Staff were polite, funny and helpful.

You can only charge your electric car via an app that you have to install and deposit 50 pounds after loading, the difference will be refunded to your account, which is annoying and the charging capacity is limited. The hotel is beautiful with the typical English garden and you can enjoy delicious coffee in a very quiet atmosphere.

This is a lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. It's also only a 20min leisurely walk from the village of Betws-y-Coed. The staff are very helpful, friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. I have never met more lovely people. The hotel is spotlessly clean. Dinner was from a fixed 2 or 3 course menu....which may be restrictive if you're staying a week. Good choice for breakfast. All food was fresh, well presented and tasty. We payed extra for a riverview room with a really comfortable bed. The reason it lost a star was because it's a bit expensive for the overall standard and appearance. Saying that, I highly recommend it and will stay there as a first choice when in this area of North Wales.

A last minute visit planned as we were on the way home so decided to stop for dinner! Great reception from the staff - and pleasantly surprised by the food, better than expected - and freshly Baked bread was amazing - will be back on a more regular basis.
